Yep, you read that right. After just two weeks on the market, with two people looking at it, we have a contract on our house. I couldn't believe it and actually got teary just thinking about leaving this house. This is the house that we came back from our honeymoon too, we celebrated all of our first holidays as a married couple in this house, we brought both of our girls home to this house. It has seen many tears and lots of laughter and has been a very good home for us. It is going to be very hard to leave it now that the reality of it has set in. We close on October 3rd and have yet to find a house, but will start looking next week. I hope they do not find anything major during the inspection. I don't think they will, but I had a dream that termites had eaten all of the wood in our house and left little toothpicks and that was all that was holding it up. As we climbed out from under the house it collapsed on the inspector because Kristen had flushed the toilet. As long as this doesn't happen we should be good.
