We are still alive for those of you who were wondering. Time has been going by so fast that I just can't believe how long ago it was since I last posted. Since then we have gone to visit my grandmother for the 4th of July holiday weekend. We celebrated my grandmother's 93rd birthday. I hope I still look as good and get around as good when I'm 93. What am I talking about....I just hope I am still living at 93...well, maybe. I did bring my camera and can you believe I didn't get one single picture of the girls with my grandmother. My mind is starting to go real quick. In fact, I didn't get hardly any pictures at all. I guess I was just enjoying my time. We did go to the Natural Tunnel State Park while we were there. It was really neat and I would have liked to see more of it, but with two small kids it just wasn't going to happen. I guess at that age once you have seen one rock, tree and creek you have seen them all. The water has, over time, made a tunnel through the rocks of the mountain and now trains travel through it. It really shows you just how awesome our God is. We also caught some fireflies. Paul actually did all of the catching, the girls and I just put them in the jar and looked at them. Another highlight while we were there was that we got to see the famous raccoon Rocky (who might just be a girl). We ended up seeing two adult raccoons and about 5 or 6 small raccoons. We fed them one night. Not up close, we aren't crazy, we put the food over the bank of the creek and let them eat while we were safely behind a chain link fence. The kids loved it. We also put off fireworks for the girls two nights and they enjoyed them so much. It was a really good trip. Here are some pictures that I did snap from our trip.
